About the Role

TestCrew is seeking a Data Scientist for a full-time, on-site position in Jeddah. This role will focus on leveraging data to support Quality Engineering and Digital Assurance initiatives for enterprise clients.

Role Overview

The Data Scientist will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing both structured and unstructured data. The insights derived will be crucial for enhancing the quality and performance of digital solutions. This position requires a strong analytical background and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Building statistical and machine learning models.
• Performing exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns.
• Creating dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborating with engineering, testing, and product teams to define data requirements, design experiments, and optimize processes and systems.
• Contributing to the development of reusable analytics frameworks.
• Documenting methodologies and findings.
• Presenting recommendations aimed at improving the quality, performance, and reliability of digital solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Science or related role.
• Strong skills in Data Science and Data Analytics, including model development, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis.
• A solid foundation in Statistics and Data Analysis for hypothesis testing, experimentation, and performance measurement.
• Proficiency in Data Visualization to build clear, insightful dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency with relevant tools and languages such as Python or R, SQL, pandas, NumPy, and visualization libraries (*, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is beneficial.
• Experience in quality engineering is required.

Beneficial Skills and Experience

• Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (*, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with version control systems (*, Git).
