About the Role

WTS Energy is seeking a Director (Buildings & Infrastructure) to lead and expand its Buildings & Infrastructure (B&I) portfolio across Saudi Arabia. This is a strategic leadership position focused on driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, and shaping the long-term vision for the B&I division. The role is based in Riyadh and is a full-time position.

Role Overview and Strategic Objectives

The Director will be responsible for the overall performance of the B&I product line, including delivering the annual Profit & Loss (P&L) and ensuring operational excellence across all service lines. A key objective is to drive topline revenue growth and gross margin performance in close collaboration with regional leadership. This involves defining and executing commercial strategies, optimizing delivery models, and ensuring consistent, high-quality client-focused execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional B&I growth strategy aligned with regional and global product line priorities.
• Drive portfolio expansion, revenue growth, and market penetration across all B&I service domains.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain full P&L accountability for revenue, sales, and gross margin.
• Ensure delivery excellence in line with operational standards, KPIs, and quality requirements.
• Oversee commercial activities, including major pursuits, tenders, and key account development.
• Build and maintain strategic client relationships across developers, government entities, and key stakeholders.
• Establish strong operational governance frameworks, including performance tracking and reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Partner with leadership to build a robust talent pipeline within the B&I division.
• Ensure strict adherence to technical governance, risk management, and quality procedures.
• Uphold organizational values, ethics, and compliance standards.

Market Engagement and Team Leadership

The Director will strengthen market presence across priority sectors including Hospitality, Entertainment, Tourism, Mega Projects, Developers, Contractors, Government Authorities, Urban Development, Smart Cities, Transportation Infrastructure, and Aviation. This involves building strong strategic relationships and expanding market footprint in alignment with regional growth ambitions. The role leads multidisciplinary teams across Asset Management, Infrastructure Technical Inspections, Project & Program Management, Environmental Services, and Commissioning, ensuring integrated and value-driven solutions across the project lifecycle.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Over 20 years of experience in the Buildings & Infrastructure, Engineering, or Consultancy sectors.
• Proven experience in senior leadership roles with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong track record of delivering projects and business growth across the Middle East, specifically Saudi Arabia.
• Experience working with developers, government authorities, and major infrastructure stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.

• Technical & Market Insight: Solid understanding of B&I service lines including inspections, asset management, commissioning, and project management; in-depth knowledge of regional regulations, standards, and construction/infrastructure ecosystems.
