About the Role

Foreground is seeking a Director Portfolio Performance & PMO to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is with a Saudi-based holding group that manages a diverse portfolio of operating companies. The organization is currently focused on strengthening its portfolio governance and enhancing performance visibility across its entities.

Role Overview

The Director will be responsible for leading portfolio performance management and PMO governance across all subsidiaries. A primary focus will be on establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), developing robust reporting frameworks, and conducting regular performance reviews. This role is critical in identifying performance gaps and providing support for corrective actions to ensure optimal business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of portfolio performance management strategies.
• Establish and oversee PMO governance structures across subsidiaries.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the portfolio.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks for performance visibility.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with subsidiary leadership and group executives.
• Support strategic initiatives and track transformation progress.
• Provide executive-level reporting and engage in strategic influence.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess significant senior-level experience in PMO, portfolio management, or performance management roles. Strong exposure to managing performance within multi-entity organizations is essential. Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a strong analytical capability, a structured approach to problem-solving, and excellent executive communication skills. Experience gained in consulting or investment backgrounds would be advantageous.
