About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager Civil & Buildings to oversee all civil, structural, earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, depot, and building engineering activities for a major program in the Riyadh Region. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of civil and buildings engineering across all project phases.
• Coordinate technical reviews for earthworks, structures, roads, drainage, buildings, and utilities packages.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Lead coordination efforts between design consultants, contractors, authorities, and operational stakeholders.
• Review construction methodologies, temporary works proposals, and technical submittals.
• Support interface coordination between civil infrastructure and railway systems packages.
• Monitor engineering progress, technical risks, and construction support requirements.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover activities for civil and buildings assets.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in civil and buildings engineering delivery.
• Demonstrated experience on rail, transportation, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of structures, geotechnical engineering, utilities, and depot facilities.
• Familiarity with design review processes and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and technical reporting.
• Knowledge of Saudi codes and approval processes is preferred.
• Professional engineering registration is preferred.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Region.
