The Role: Event Sales and Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced Event Sales and Business Development Manager with strong expertise in the events and exhibitions sector. This full-time role involves leading the sales team, developing comprehensive sales strategies, building robust client relationships, and consistently achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies specifically tailored for the events and exhibitions sector.
• Identify target markets and actively attract new clients to expand the company's reach.
• Lead, train, and develop the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of established goals.
• Analyze sales data to make informed, data-driven decisions that optimize sales efforts.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
• Coordinate effectively with Marketing, Finance, and Operations departments to ensure successful project execution.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with key clients, ensuring favorable terms.
• Oversee collections processes and ensure timely payments from clients.
• Prepare periodic reports detailing sales performance, identifying opportunities, and addressing challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in exhibitions and events management is mandatory for this role.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active engagement within the local market and collaboration with various internal teams.
