About the General Service Support Role

Philips is seeking a General Service Support Graduate to join the Health Systems Services Delivery team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional service quality to customers and patients.

Role Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for a range of technical and administrative duties to ensure the optimal performance of Philips Healthcare equipment. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our service operations.

  • Install Philips Healthcare (PH) equipment in accordance with established standards for quality and installation time.
  • Execute planned maintenance and equipment modifications within scheduled timelines and to PH quality standards.
  • Perform corrective maintenance, with support available from a tier-2 support helpdesk when necessary.
  • Submit service data, job sheets, reports, expense claims, radiation film badges, field problem reports, and other assigned documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify customer needs and potential commercial leads (Philips Lifecycle Solutions – PLS) during customer visits, providing feedback and recommendations to management and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Represent PH professionally in customer interactions, addressing issues and ensuring personal acceptability through appearance and behavior, in line with PH policy and targets.

Qualifications and Experience

This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to launch their careers in a technical service environment. The foundational requirements are designed to ensure a strong start in the field.

  • Graduates holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field, who have graduated post-2024.
  • Prior experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of technically complex systems is considered an advantage.

Required Skills and Attributes

Successful candidates will possess a blend of technical aptitude and strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively serve our customers.

  • Fluency in both verbal and written English, in addition to proficiency in the local language.
  • A strong customer-oriented approach, with a focus on understanding and meeting client needs.
  • Availability for business trips within Saudi Arabia, requiring a valid driving license.
