About the Role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team in Middle Oraija Dist, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading health, safety, and environmental initiatives across projects, ensuring compliance with standards, and fostering a robust safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

Provide best practice HSE solutions for day-to-day monitoring and reporting, ensuring adherence to Project Owner standards.
Represent the Project Owner in explaining HSE construction implementation activities to client candidates.
Monitor and review the implementation of HSE standards at construction sites.
Ensure all project meetings chaired by the company commence with a Health & Safety moment, initiated through the dedicated Health, Safety, Wellbeing App.
Verify that all contractors and vendors on site possess the requisite level of compliant safety training, contributing to a high degree of hazard awareness.
Promote a collaborative approach to health and safety across the entire project team, fostering safety accountability at all levels, including from the client.
Establish and maintain a zero-tolerance health and safety culture.
Implement a health and safety assurance process that emphasizes leading indicators for effective risk mitigation on project sites.
Proactively undertake site supervision of work activities to address safety concerns or identified risk activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management. A proven track record in implementing and monitoring HSE standards, particularly within construction or project management environments, is required.
