About the ICQA 3PL Specialist Role

Amazon is seeking an ICQA 3PL Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring the quality and performance of our third-party logistics (3PL) operations within Fulfillment Centers (FCs). This role requires a proactive individual with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage day-to-day activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities, taking responsibility for the overall safety, quality, performance, and member experience within FC operations.
  • Set and clarify departmental requirements and expectations, fostering an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures, promote safe working practices, and document accidents or incidents in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and adapt to ambiguity and change.
  • Drive results and proactively address obstacles.
  • Communicate and consistently enforce company policies.
  • Source and nurture ideas, integrating them into improvement plans.
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices across all departments, shifts, and the entire organization.
  • Collaborate with HR, Facilities, Safety, and IT to build support and secure resources for projects and initiatives.
  • Track production metrics and utilize data to develop strategies for continuous improvement, reporting findings to management.
  • Assist in the establishment of long-term operational strategic plans.
  • Mentor and provide training and development to optimize performance, contributing to organizational depth and individual growth.
  • Recognize top performance and provide coaching or progressive discipline for underperformance.
  • Propose and implement improvements in equipment and processing methods.
  • Conduct daily and weekly timecard reviews to ensure pay accuracy.
  • Perform other duties with flexibility as assigned, including rotating to other shifts/departments and working extended hours and holidays as needed. This includes arriving at least 30 minutes early and staying at least 30 minutes late to complete pass-downs, reports, and timecard reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Willingness to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a Fulfillment Center environment, requiring physical stamina and adaptability to different shifts and work areas as needed.
