The Opportunity: IT Audit Supervisor

KPMG Middle East Careers is seeking an IT Audit Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time role designed for professionals with 2-5 years of experience. The primary objective of this position is to provide audit engagement team services within the financial services sector, focusing on the preparation, delivery, reporting, and evaluation of audit engagement results to meet the needs of stakeholders and external regulators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct IT risk assessments as part of external audits by understanding business objectives, internal controls, enabling technology, and IT infrastructure.
  • Document and test application automated controls and General IT Controls across a wide range of software application packages.
  • Perform audit work on various technologies utilized by the company and across different IT functions.
  • Assess both the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Identify key risks and evaluate their potential impact and likelihood of occurrence.
  • Prioritize and assist in scheduling audit tests to be performed, interacting with auditees to gather necessary information.
  • Evaluate controls designed to prevent or detect fraud, including management override of controls.
  • Prepare and present audit findings as required.
  • Acquire additional knowledge of relevant regulations and emerging technologies.

Candidate Profile

We seek experienced professionals who can bring a fresh perspective to our audit engagements. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience, whether gained in industry, the public sector, a smaller firm, or another 'Big Four' organization. The ability to contribute effectively from day one is highly valued.
