TAWANTECH is seeking an experienced Java Developer with Quarkus framework expertise to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on delivering robust solutions within the banking sector. We are looking for a professional who can contribute to the development and maintenance of critical financial applications.

The Opportunity: Java Developer (Quarkus Framework)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance banking applications. This role requires strong expertise in the Quarkus framework and proven experience within the banking industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that meet stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using the Quarkus framework.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for banking applications.
• Integrate applications with core banking systems and third-party services.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ensure applications comply with banking security, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with the Quarkus framework.
• Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry is mandatory.

Technical Expertise and Industry Experience

• Strong knowledge of Java, REST APIs, Microservices, Maven, Git, and SQL.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
• Experience integrating with Core Banking Systems, payment systems, or digital banking platforms is highly preferred.
