About the Role

CTRD Arabia is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the company’s logistics operations, vehicle fleet, and real estate across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This contract role, based in Riyadh, is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with local regulations. The Logistics Manager will report to the Head of Project Services and will be instrumental in providing essential support for the company's projects and personnel, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of assets.

Role Context and Purpose

The Country Management Office (CMO) in KSA provides centralized administrative, local operations, and compliance support to projects and the business. Within this structure, the Logistics Manager is responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of all logistics functions. This includes ensuring that the company’s projects and people receive the necessary support and that assets are managed effectively and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage transportation, logistics, and import/export activities for efficient and cost-effective asset movement.
  • Oversee inventory and storage operations, including receiving, tracking, issuing, storing, and auditing company assets.
  • Manage logistics vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Handle furniture logistics, including delivery, installation, relocation, storage, and disposal.
  • Supervise company fleet operations, covering acquisition, registration, maintenance, repairs, and legal compliance.
  • Oversee company facilities operations, including sourcing, leasing, renovation, contract management, renewals, and disposal.
  • Coordinate employee and contractor travel arrangements in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize fleet, logistics, inventory, and storage performance, focusing on costs, budgets, and asset utilization.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), systems, and controls for operational efficiency and accountability.
  • Prepare periodic reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop an integrated logistics support team to provide seamless service.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on logistics, fleet, inventory, and storage processes.
  • Supervise and lead logistics staff to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience is required for this role.
  • Proven experience of at least 7 years in either fleet management, logistics management, or facilities management within KSA.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of national regulations pertaining to the import and export of goods into and from KSA.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and administrative skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various levels of an organization.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Arabic.
  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Desirable: A professional qualification at Level 3 in fleet, logistics, or facilities management.

Team Leadership

The Logistics Manager will directly manage the Fleet Assistant Manager and the Facilities Assistant Manager. This leadership role involves building a cohesive and supportive team that delivers efficient logistics services.

Work Arrangement

This is a contract position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
