About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager - IT Strategy and Planning to join its team in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for developing and governing the technology strategy, operating model, and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with Qiddiya's business objectives and organizational priorities. The role plays a crucial part in supporting Qiddiya's long-term vision and operational excellence through strategic planning, portfolio governance, performance management, and transformation initiatives within the Technology function.

Technology Strategy and Governance

This role involves the development and maintenance of the Technology strategy, roadmap, and associated strategic initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with corporate objectives. Key responsibilities include supporting the definition and execution of the Technology operating model and governance framework, establishing and monitoring performance indicators, strategic objectives, and key results (OKRs/KPIs), and facilitating governance forums, steering committees, and executive-level reporting.

Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management

The Manager - IT Strategy and Planning will lead the annual Technology strategic planning and workforce planning cycles. This includes developing and maintaining the Technology portfolio roadmap and investment priorities, coordinating cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment with business requirements, and monitoring portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.

Budgeting, Performance, and Transformation

This position leads the Technology budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with Finance and business stakeholders, monitoring budget utilization, investment planning, and cost optimization initiatives. The role also involves developing executive dashboards and performance reports, tracking strategic initiatives, and leading strategic transformation programs and continuous improvement initiatives across the Technology function to optimize processes and operating models.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) and professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, or strategic management certifications are preferred. The role requires a minimum of 8–10 years of experience in Technology Strategy, IT Planning, PMO, Management Consulting, or Technology Governance, with experience in large-scale organizations, digital transformation programs, or complex enterprise environments being essential.
