About the Optical Technician Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a dedicated Optical Technician to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience looking to build a career in the optical field. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, supporting sales, and ensuring accurate optical product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate optical products, including frames, lenses, contact lenses, and sunglasses.
• Drive sales through upselling, cross-selling, and effective promotion execution.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
• Ensure a professional and engaging customer experience throughout their journey.
• Address customer inquiries and manage basic complaints effectively.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty.
• Accurately interpret and understand optical prescriptions.
• Provide support for basic fitting, adjustments, and product selection.
• Assist opticians with technical requirements as needed.
• Verify prescription accuracy, fitting, and product specifications.
• Ensure products are defect-free and match customer orders precisely.
• Support zero-error delivery processes and resolve issues prior to handover.
• Accurately process customer transactions using the POS system.
• Assist with insurance approvals and necessary documentation.
• Maintain stock accuracy and ensure proper product handling procedures are followed.
• Report any stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across all categories.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store targets.
• Support opticians and the sales team during peak periods.
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional and ethical conduct at all times.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from a technical institute of optics.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in oral and written English and Arabic.
• SCFHS certification.

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Basic understanding of optical and technical processes.
• Familiarity with POS and insurance systems.
