About the Product Specialist - Immunology Role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a dedicated Product Specialist - Immunology to join our Innovative Medicine team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on representing our immunology products to healthcare professionals, ensuring their appropriate use based on clinical indications and company values. You will play a key role in increasing product access and ultimately impacting the health of millions by restoring health to patients living with immune diseases.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of the Product Specialist is to serve as a knowledgeable representative for Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine products. This involves engaging with healthcare professionals to highlight the value and clinical merit of our registered products within their approved indications. The role contributes to expanding patient access to effective treatments by detailing product benefits and collaborating with various internal functions to achieve market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize patient share for assigned products by understanding patient pathways and ensuring sales processes adhere to J&J compliance, quality guidelines, and local laws.
  • Utilize a multichannel approach (face-to-face, email, phone, presentations) to engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) according to the Customer Value Team (CVT) strategy, providing quality feedback for each interaction.
  • Achieve market share targets for the assigned territory.
  • Promote the image of J&J Innovative Medicine as a scientific and digital innovator within assigned accounts, organizing promotional and scientific meetings.
  • Conduct comprehensive account mapping, understanding logistical processes, product listing, contracting, key stakeholders, and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders, including Directors of Pharmacy, Senior Procurement Managers, Tender Managers, and Hospital Management.
  • Identify short and long-term business opportunities in alignment with the Business Unit strategy, in collaboration with the Market Access team.
  • Fulfill all Customer Interaction Excellence (CIE) index and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within agreed timelines, including database updates, accurate visit reporting with valuable feedback, and correct sample handling.
  • Achieve results in scientific quizzes organized by CVT, meeting manager expectations.
  • Attend all assigned training courses and apply learnings to improve technical and ethical business practices.
  • Organize assigned activities in compliance with all rules, using the correct CRM system as per SOPs.
  • Comply with all set guidelines, policies, and SOPs of J&J and local regulations, including local laws, HCBI guidelines, FCPA, Policy of Business Conduct, Pharmacovigilance rules for adverse events and product quality complaints, quality and compliance practices, and global fleet safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
