About the Production Section Manager Role

alfanar is seeking a Production Section Manager for its low voltage production operations in Riyadh. This full-time role requires an experienced professional to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of high-quality electrical products while adhering to stringent safety and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory goals, coordinating with procurement and logistics for a seamless workflow.
Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout production, collaborating with the quality assurance team to maintain standards and conducting regular inspections.
Lead and supervise production teams, providing training and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Manage the allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials, monitoring and controlling production costs for optimal resource utilization.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility, implementing safety protocols and conducting training.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, implementing lean manufacturing principles and collaborating with engineering teams on technological advancements.
Facilitate inter-departmental communication and provide regular updates to senior management on production status and challenges.
Develop and manage the production budget, analyzing costs and implementing strategies for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards, staying updated on changes and working with regulatory bodies.

This role demands strong HR proficiency, including the ability to recruit, develop, and manage high and low performers effectively, ensuring equitable treatment and performance-based assessment. The manager must take full responsibility for operations, anticipate and prevent problems, and make timely, proper decisions.
