Mace is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position will support quality assurance processes on a significant program within the Kingdom. Project Context

This role is part of one of the largest programs in Saudi Arabia, a comprehensive mixed-use development encompassing sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and all associated infrastructure. The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of this complex project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality assurance (QA) plans, procedures, and inspection and test plans (ITPs) in alignment with Mace standards and client requirements.
• Monitor contractor compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards across civil, utilities, and infrastructure packages.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and surveillance to ensure works adhere to QA/QC procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage non-conformance processes (NCRs), including timely identification, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and close-out.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and quality documentation before construction activities commence.
• Coordinate with delivery teams, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a proactive quality culture and drive first-time right delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent professional development.
• Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes within the consultancy sector.
• Proven experience in infrastructure project management.
• Commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience working on projects within large, diverse teams.
• Experience in developing and forming relationships with project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations influence project outlook.
• Eligibility to meet necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with relevant work experience on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, as required for immigration and client approval.
