About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading quality assurance initiatives across multidisciplinary road and highway projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement. The position requires a strong background in site operations and consultancy services, supporting project delivery excellence in both on-site and client-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) for road and highway projects.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, contractual specifications, employer's requirements, and relevant authority standards.
• Act as the Quality Management Representative for site operations.
• Deliver quality training and mentoring to project and site teams on quality standards, procedures, road construction best practices, and quality tools (RCA, FMEA, Six Sigma concepts).
• Promote a proactive quality culture across project teams and contractors.

Site Quality Management Focus

• Oversee QA/QC activities for road works, including earthworks, subgrade, embankments, asphalt and pavement works (flexible & rigid pavements), drainage, utilities, road corridors, road furniture, signage, and traffic management systems.
• Ensure Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Work Procedures are approved and effectively implemented.
• Monitor material approvals, laboratory testing, and site inspections in line with authority and project requirements.

Audits, Compliance, and Stakeholder Engagement

• Plan and conduct internal audits, vendor audits, and support external, client, and authority audits.
• Lead non-conformance management, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action implementation.
• Track and report quality KPIs, trends, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Contractors, and Site Teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for quality matters with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide quality consultancy and advisory services to clients on road project quality systems and compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess relevant education and extensive experience in quality management within road, highway, or infrastructure projects. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience is required. Strong technical and professional skills are essential, along with a background in consultancy and client-facing environments.
