About the Role
Midea Shaker Company (MISAC), a joint venture between Midea Residential Air Conditioners, Midea Building Technologies, and Hussein & Al-Hassan G. Shaker Bros. for Modern Trading Co. LTD (HH-Shaker), is seeking a Quality System Specialist. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The company is focused on establishing local manufacturing and sales within the HVAC engineering market, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiatives for local manufacturing and sustainable development.
Role Overview
The Quality System Specialist will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining the company's quality management system. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure compliance with international standards, drive continuous improvement, and manage product quality throughout its lifecycle, from manufacturing to market feedback. The role involves close collaboration with various internal departments and external certification bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the company's quality management system, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Develop, revise, and manage quality management system documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
- Conduct internal quality audits, track identified issues, and ensure timely rectification.
- Support management review meetings and monitor the implementation of decisions.
- Define company quality objectives, track their achievement, and analyze deviations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality management levels.
- Organize and deliver quality management training to employees.
- Assist with customer quality audits, prepare necessary documentation, and manage audit findings.
- Oversee product SASO certification, including testing, issue resolution, and liaison with certification bodies.
- Manage finished product quality, including inspection processes, non-conforming product handling, and PDCA cycles.
- Handle market quality issues, liaising with customers and coordinating internal improvements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems.
- Possession of an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards and requirements.
- Proven experience in establishing and maintaining Quality Management Systems.
