About the Opportunity

Jotun Middle East, India and Africa (MEIA) is seeking a Retail Development Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to enhancing Jotun's retail market position and competitiveness within Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will report to the Marketing Manager and is expected to bring 5-10 years of relevant experience to drive strategic retail initiatives.

Role Overview

The Retail Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing various programs and initiatives in close collaboration with retail stakeholders. This involves building a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and the Decorative retail segment, product, and solutions portfolio. The objective is to achieve profitable growth and introduce innovations that address customer requirements, all while adhering to segment and category strategies and budget guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage retail programs and solutions, including campaigns, launches, and innovations, based on market analysis, competitor monitoring, and customer insights.
  • Promote an optimal shopping experience in retail shops to attract, engage, and motivate customers to purchase Jotun products.
  • Drive retail segment solutions and leverage business potential through initiatives such as the Jotun Way, Master Painter Loyalty Program, and the Jotun shop concept to enhance stakeholder experience and foster business growth.
  • Initiate and drive retail innovation to achieve growth and business results in Saudi Arabia, continuously improving the customer shopping experience by equipping Jotun shops with selling and inspirational tools, alongside the latest product and colour launches.
  • Manage and further develop relationships with key furniture and home improvement stores to ensure appropriate product representation and drive footfall to Jotun stores.
  • Develop and roll out various programs for key stakeholders in the retail channel, including homeowners, dealers, painters, and professionals, ensuring the availability of necessary marketing materials such as products, systems, and communication packages.
