About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Sales Manager Brownfield to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to driving sales growth by leading strategic planning, customer engagement, and revenue generation activities. The manager will ensure all efforts align with company objectives, policies, and approved delivery capabilities.

Key Sales Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets across assigned markets and customers.
  • Drive pipeline development, opportunity conversion, and recurring revenue growth.
  • Manage sales performance against budget, including revenue, margins, and profitability, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Support pricing strategies, quotations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and key stakeholders, leading commercial discussions and contract clarifications.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align sold scopes with execution capabilities and support smooth handover of awarded contracts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales documentation, proposals, and contracts, and manage sales order booking in line with company policies.
  • Manage the lifecycle of customer agreements, including utilization tracking, renewals, and driving contract value optimization through upselling and cross-selling.

Leadership and Operational Management

  • Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers, developing a robust second line of management, and manage low performers through guidance or necessary action.
  • Ensure fair treatment of subordinates without discrimination, with assessment criteria based on performance and planned results.
  • Take full responsibility for operations as per the job description, anticipating problems, and making timely, proactive decisions.
  • Deliver required results in a timely manner, meeting quality and cost standards.
  • Translate corporate goals into actionable business plans, monitoring performance and initiating corrective actions, while providing periodic progress reports.
  • Monitor and control budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
  • Develop the organizational structure according to current and future requirements, ensuring job descriptions are available and deployed for all roles.
  • Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities and promoting the full use of automated systems.

Strategic Contribution and Continuous Improvement

  • Make a tangible difference in the area of operation, striving to exceed business expectations.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide input for improving sales processes, tools, and offerings.
  • Uphold quality as Alfanar’s prime competitive advantage, acting accordingly in all aspects of the role.
  • Adapt to new and alternative techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment in adherence to standard regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a sales management role, preferably within a brownfield context.
