About the Sales Specialist Digital Solutions Role

Baxter is seeking a Sales Specialist for Digital Solutions to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on driving sales within the Digital Solution and Connectivity business across the Middle East region. The role is integral to defining and implementing sales strategies and contributing to the generation of new business opportunities in the evolving healthcare landscape.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage sales for Baxter's Digital Solution and Connectivity offerings, with a primary focus on generating new business. You will be responsible for achieving sales, financial, and customer targets. This includes planning, implementing, and reviewing sales operating plans to identify revenue and growth opportunities aligned with the Business Unit strategy. A key aspect of the role involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and new customers in hospital settings, ensuring they are fully informed about Baxter's digital connectivity products.

  • Oversee, support, mentor, and motivate Baxter distributors, acting as a role model.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals and decision-makers, in collaboration with distributors, to deliver product showcases and demonstrations.
  • Proactively identify and follow up on new and existing business opportunities.
  • Ensure customer needs are met and guarantee satisfaction by addressing customer issues.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Support, Customer Service, and other internal teams to achieve customer satisfaction and targets.
  • Capture and maintain relevant sales and customer data in appropriate systems.
  • Develop commercial proposals and submit pricing to distributors.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Digital IT, Computer Science, or a scientific field such as Nursing, Medicine, or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience. A solid background in selling digital solutions, nurse call systems, digital communication, or ICNET is required. Exposure to digital and connectivity within a hospital environment is essential.

  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to influence others.
  • A collaborative and customer-focused approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships and business opportunities.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • A valid driving license and availability to travel across the Middle East region approximately 40% of the time.

Proficiency in French will be considered an advantage.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires significant travel within the Middle East region.
