About the Security Managed Services Associate Manager Role

Accenture Middle East is seeking a Security Managed Services Associate Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role focuses on providing management oversight for delivery teams and client engagements, emphasizing governance, performance monitoring, and adherence to organizational standards. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and is not directly involved in day-to-day project execution, but rather ensures effective governance and continuous improvement of delivery performance and service levels.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Associate Manager serves as a senior liaison between delivery teams, Delivery Managers, and leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment. This role supports a sustainable operating model by overseeing people utilization, workload balance, capability development, and performance feedback, while managing risks, issues, and escalations through appropriate channels. The core responsibilities include providing oversight for multiple teams and engagements to ensure alignment with objectives and standards, reviewing delivery performance against SLAs and KPIs, and ensuring proactive management of risks and issues. The role also supports audit readiness by ensuring compliance with delivery controls and documentation requirements.

People and Capacity Management

This position involves overseeing team utilization and workload distribution to maintain a sustainable operating model. It includes monitoring capability coverage and development needs, escalating gaps, and supporting improvement plans. The Associate Manager will provide performance input and feedback in collaboration with Delivery Managers and People Leads, ensuring consistency in people processes, performance standards, and organizational policies.

Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting

The role requires acting as a senior point of contact for clear communication and transparency between delivery teams, Delivery Managers, and leadership. This includes supporting leadership reporting with structured insights on delivery health, risks, and improvement areas. Aligning stakeholder expectations through reinforced governance processes, decision-making frameworks, and escalation paths is also a key function.

Governance and Continuous Improvement

Responsibilities include supporting governance forums, management reviews, and performance reporting cycles. Ensuring consistent application of organizational policies, quality standards, and internal controls across engagements is crucial. The role involves identifying trends, systemic risks, and improvement opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the standardization and maturity of delivery governance practices.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should possess:

  • Experience in delivery oversight, service governance, or engagement management within complex, multi-team environments.
  • A strong understanding of performance management, SLAs, risk and issue management, and governance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and provide structured, data-driven insights.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, balancing governance rigor with operational pragmatism.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, or quality assurance activities is considered an advantage.
