About the Role

Northern Trust, a global leader in wealth management, asset servicing, asset management, and banking services, is seeking a Senior Analyst Security Processing for its operations in Riyadh. Role Overview

This full-time position involves managing key operational activities within Custody Operations. The role requires oversight of trade settlement, corporate actions, income management, and account opening processes to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Middle Eastern trade and settlement activities.
  • Provide oversight for cash and stock reconciliations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Manage proxy voting activities to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across various locations to meet service level agreements.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external counterparties.
  • Analyze internal reports, raise queries, and ensure accurate and compliant client delivery.
  • Participate in custody operations meetings with other locations to develop subject matter expertise.
  • Resolve queries and take action within established standards and timeframes.
  • Provide required documentation and information to auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Escalate issues appropriately and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Update operational procedures to reflect process changes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Local Depository.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in investment operations, with a preference for custody operations.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi market.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • A proactive approach with a commitment to issue resolution.
  • Ability to multitask, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills supported by organization and time management.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of risk management and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role operates within the established framework of Northern Trust's global operations, emphasizing collaboration and adherence to standards.
