About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a highly experienced Senior QA/QC Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for establishing and maintaining high standards of quality across all projects and services.

Role Overview

The Senior QA/QC Manager will lead the development of strategies and processes for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control department. This involves implementing comprehensive policies, procedures, and regulations for quality control work, alongside effective supervisory techniques. The role ensures that all project activities are executed within specific methods, project quality plan guidelines, and established procedures to guarantee high quality of services and products, achieve customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement of processes and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the project QA/QC plan to meet specific project quality requirements.
• Establish project quality objectives in line with IMS corporate objectives and monitor the submittal status of QA/QC reports.
• Review all technical submittals for compliance and quality.
• Develop and implement a control system for suppliers and subcontractors, including conducting regular site audits.
• Attend all required and related meetings, coordinating project quality requirements with the project owner, consultant, and project management team.
• Oversee the review of material submittals and method statements provided by contractors to ensure adherence to project quality standards.
• Supervise all amendments and revisions to the project QA/QC plan to ensure it consistently meets project quality requirements and client expectations.
• Ensure the project QA/QC plan is prepared within 30 days from the contract start date and obtains approval from the consultant.
• Conduct quarterly reviews or reviews on an as-needed basis to assess plan effectiveness.
• Supervise, track, and record all revisions to the QA/QC plan following any amendments, and ensure distribution to all concerned parties.
• Prepare, review, and amend quality objectives in accordance with client requirements within 30 days of project commencement, ensuring alignment with corporate QMS objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of working experience in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant supervisory position within QA/QC.
• 5 years of GCC experience is considered a significant advantage.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to effectively manage quality assurance and control operations.
