Omrania, a prominent architectural, engineering, and design consultancy, is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Role Overview

The Structural Design Engineer will be a key member of the engineering department, responsible for the design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. This full-time position requires a detail-oriented and analytical approach to ensure designs meet all necessary codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs and perform calculations for diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Utilize advanced structural engineering software for the creation of accurate and efficient designs.
• Analyze structural systems to ensure compliance with local building codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to optimize project designs.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design drawings.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise to clients and team members.
• Maintain awareness of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent in Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software including AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, Revit, IDEA StatiCa, and *******
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian building codes (*, ACI) and relevant regulations.
• Experience in designing structures for various building types (Concrete/Steel) and infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination abilities, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in technical report writing and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiarity with local construction practices and materials.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Must be a Saudi National.
