KPMG Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Supervisor - External Auditor to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in external auditing, focusing on the financial services sector. Role Overview

The Supervisor - External Auditor will provide comprehensive audit engagement services within the financial services industry. This involves overseeing the preparation, delivery, reporting, and evaluation of audit results to meet the needs of stakeholders and external regulators. The role requires a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and their application to client situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver audit services, including the auditing of clients' financial statements, related disclosures, and other deliverables.
• Collaborate in planning engagement objectives and audit strategies in compliance with professional standards.
• Evaluate audit work requirements for clients, considering all applicable regulations.
• Supervise and develop junior engagement team members by delegating audit tasks and providing guidance.
• Author audit reports and present findings to clients and upper management.
• Monitor engagement team progress against the plan and make necessary adjustments.
• Assess risks and design and communicate audit procedures to engagement teams.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel, assessing client satisfaction and maintaining proactive contact.
• Perform other duties within the scope as assigned by the Performance Manager.
• Assume assigned authorities and stay updated with the latest developments in the area of expertise.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A professional accounting qualification is required (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience with a leading professional services firm, preferably within a Big 4 or Big 10 accounting and advisory firm.
