X Architects is currently recruiting a Technical Design Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to providing technical leadership and ensuring design quality across various projects. The role requires a professional who can effectively coordinate multidisciplinary teams and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and project stakeholders.

Role Overview and Impact

The Technical Design Manager will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of design integrity throughout project execution. This involves overseeing design quality from initial concept through project delivery and providing essential design guardianship during the construction phases. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior team members, contributing to their professional development within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and detailing across multiple projects.
• Ensure design quality and maintain design intent throughout project delivery.
• Oversee site supervision and provide design guardianship during construction.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Manage complex and technically challenging projects from design through execution.
• Lead project teams and design packages while mentoring and developing junior staff.
• Foster strong collaboration and communication across all project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong technical design and detailing expertise.
• Proven experience delivering complex and specialized projects.
• Previous experience working with international consulting firms.
• Extensive experience in site supervision and design guardianship.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects or design packages and mentoring junior professionals.
