Join WSP in the Middle East as a Project Finance Analyst!
WSP in the Middle East is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Finance Analyst to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, preferably within the engineering, construction, or consulting sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting for infrastructure and capital projects.
• Support in the preparation of investment memorandums, feasibility studies, and project finance reports.
• Analyze project cash flows, cost structures, and returns to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, legal, and technical experts.
• Assist in due diligence, risk assessment, and financial close processes.
• Prepare and present reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in project finance, preferably within the engineering, construction, or consulting sectors.
• Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountant (SOCPA) registration is required (or eligibility to obtain it).
• Proven experience in financial modeling and analysis.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure projects and capital expenditure planning.
• Regional experience in the Middle East (ME) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Prepare and analyze feasibility studies for real estate development projects.
  • Create detailed financial models calculating key performance indicators (ROI, IRR, NPV, Payback).
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess changes in financial expectations.
  • Assist with annual budgeting and operational planning.
• Financial Reporting and Periodic Analysis:
  • Generate performance reports, providing insights on expenses and revenues.
  • Analyze trends in financial results and ensure compliance with policies.
• Governance and Operations:
  • Coordinate with internal departments to maintain data accuracy.
  • Support the auditing process with comprehensive financial data.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis or feasibility studies, preferably in real estate.
• Professional certifications such as CMA or CFA are advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for financial modeling.
