We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced General Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, making payments, and reconciling accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Perform periodic financial analyses and provide insights to management on financial performance.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proven experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting regulations is a plus.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CMA is preferred.

Join our team as a Senior General Accountant!
At Adsela Marketing Solutions, we are dedicated to understanding market needs and helping brands achieve their goals. As a Senior General Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance within our company.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely month, quarter, and year-end closing, providing all necessary analyses.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and prepare monthly management reports.
• Assist with financial audits, preparing audit schedules, and interfacing with auditors.
• Prepare and distribute accurate financial statements and analytical reports.
• Participate in special projects, ERP implementation, system enhancements, or ad-hoc analyses.
• Ensure reconciliation of inter-company accounts and rectify reconciling items.
• Handle intercompany cost allocations.
• Maintain accurate revenue and cost recognition databases.
• Ensure all month-end entries are recorded in the system.
• Monitor bookings of tax entries, especially VAT accounting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 57 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with SAP financial applications is preferred.
• Strong tax accounting and filing experience is preferred.
