Join Asas Makeen - اساس مكين as a General Accountant!
We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant who will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial management at our company. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Recording daily transactions in the accounting system and ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
  • Continuously monitoring and updating client accounts, ensuring balance reconciliation.
  • Managing vendor accounts by reviewing invoices and preparing monthly matching statements.
  • Tracking related party accounts and updating them regularly.
  • Preparing and reviewing bank transfers and entering them into the financial system according to approved procedures.
  • Preparing tax declarations (VAT, withholding tax, zakat) and ensuring their accuracy before submission.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Organizing documents, invoices, and financial records for easy retrieval.
  • Participating in month-end and year-end account closures in coordination with the head of accounts.
  • Reviewing expenses for compliance with financial policies.
  • Handling banking matters regarding new account openings and transfers.
  • Collaborating with various teams and implementing instructions professionally.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related financial field.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in accounting.

Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of electronic accounting systems (ERP) such as QuickBooks.
  • Familiarity with the Odoo program.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and high accuracy in work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
