Join Our Team as a Senior Data Engineer!
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join JAWRAA, a leading digital transformation partner in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of robust data engineering and integration solutions in a large-scale, data-driven environment.

Role Overview:
Your focus will be on building and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms, leading data integration initiatives, and ensuring high standards of data quality, governance, and performance across complex and diverse data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of scalable data engineering and integration architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain advanced data engineering frameworks capable of handling large-scale and complex data workflows.
• Integrate multiple data sources while ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
• Apply best practices in data modeling, transformation, and storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Establish and enforce data engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging data technologies to enhance data platforms and capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Strong expertise in data architecture, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and real-time data processing.
• Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (*, AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, or similar).
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security (knowledge of PDPL / GDPR is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments.
