Join our dynamic team as a Fixed Assets Senior Accountant!
We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable individual to manage and maintain our Company's fixed assets register. At Global Environmental Management Services Ltd., we are committed to sustainability and innovation in environmental services, and this role is essential in ensuring compliance with local regulations (ZATCA), IFRS, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign daily routes and tasks to drivers based on operational needs.
• Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register (FAR) ensuring accurate tagging and classification of all assets.
• Coordinate with procurement and operational functions for proper documentation upon completion of asset capitalization.
• Perform monthly depreciation runs and reconcile general ledger balances with the FAR.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA for fixed asset reporting and support VAT/Zakat filings related to capital expenditures.
• Conduct physical verification of assets periodically and report discrepancies.
• Manage asset transfers, disposals, impairments, and write-offs in line with accounting standards.
• Assist in closing activities ensuring timely and accurate reporting of fixed assets.
• Support external and internal audits with necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with finance and operations for proper capitalization of construction-in-progress (CIP).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 46 years of experience, with a focus on fixed assets in a large organization.
• Knowledge of ZATCA guidelines and VAT regulations.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
