About the Opportunity

Cactus Communications, through its flagship brand Editage, is expanding its global network of freelance contributors to support ongoing AI and language-based projects. We are seeking a Linguistics Specialist Saudi Arabic Najdi to join our platform. This contract role is fully remote, offering flexible, task-based work for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, based in Ḩā’il, Ha'il, Saudi Arabia.

Role Responsibilities

The specialist will contribute to various language-focused projects, performing tasks that include:

• Reviewing and refining text, translations, and captions across general subject areas such as travel, food, lifestyle, and finance.
• Transcribing conversations and conducting quality checks on transcribed content.
• Labeling or annotating voice, text, or image content for AI model development.
• Reviewing and correcting outputs generated by artificial intelligence systems.
• Assisting in the localization of content specifically for AI models.

Candidate Profile

Candidates for this role should meet the following qualifications:

• Near-native level proficiency in Saudi Arabic Najdi and a strong command of English.
• Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions accurately.
• Prior experience in translation, editing, or related language tasks is preferred.

Work Arrangement

This position offers a 100% remote, flexible, and ad hoc work arrangement. Contributors will have access to a wide variety of projects and the opportunity to become part of a global pool of language specialists supporting innovative AI and linguistic initiatives.
