The Linguistics Specialist Role

We are seeking a Linguistics Specialist with expertise in Saudi Arabic Northern to contribute to various language and AI projects. This contract role is based in Ḩā’il, Saudi Arabia, and involves applying linguistic skills to review, refine, and localize content, primarily for AI models. The position offers flexible, ad hoc work assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine text, translations, and captions across general subject areas, including travel, food, lifestyle, and finance.
• Transcribe conversations and perform quality checks on linguistic data.
• Label or annotate voice, text, or image content for machine learning applications.
• Review and correct outputs generated by AI systems to ensure accuracy and natural language.
• Assist in localizing content to meet specific linguistic and cultural requirements for AI models.

Required Qualifications

• Near-native level proficiency in Saudi Arabic Northern and a strong command of English.
• Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Prior experience (0-1 years) in translation, editing, or related language tasks is preferred.

Work Environment and Contract Details
