About the Role

EMAR Saudi for Energy Works is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its Finance team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is open to Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience.

Role Purpose

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting functions. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with financial regulations and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support monthly closing processes and the preparation of financial reports.
• Assist with VAT documentation and ensure compliance with ZATCA requirements.
• Organize accounting documents and support internal and external audit requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience or training in contracting or construction is preferred.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to use them effectively in daily work.
• Good command of English.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
