Job Summary

Raytheon (RTX) is seeking a CARC Paint Specialist for Patriot Equipment to join its team in Makkah or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing daily Chemical Agent Resistive Coating (CARC) paint operations for Patriot ground support equipment, ensuring compliance with military and Raytheon standards.

Role Responsibilities

The specialist will be responsible for the complete painting process, from surface preparation to final finishing, while implementing strict corrosion and process controls. Key duties include:

• Preparing paint spraying facilities and surfaces designated for painting.
• Removing old paint and applying primer to various surfaces.
• Spray painting all Air Defense Forces systems equipment and their associated components.
• Applying necessary putties and performing other finishing or body work as required.
• Participating in On-the-Job Training (OJT) when opportunities arise.
• Performing other related work within the same field as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in painting and body works, with practical experience in specialized coating applications. The required qualifications include:

• A Diploma in Painting and Body Works from an accredited foreign or local college or institute, OR a High School Certificate combined with relevant courses in Painting and Body Works.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field, specifically with paint ovens, sandblasting devices, and CARC coatings, is preferred. The role generally requires 5-10 years of experience.

Required Skills and Attributes

Successful candidates will demonstrate technical proficiency and a commitment to safety:

• Demonstrated proficiency in operating commercial blast equipment for the preparation of aluminum and steel surfaces.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating commercial paint equipment for pre-treatment, primer application, and CARC paint application.
• Strict compliance with all safety rules and procedures, including the consistent wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
