Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the clinic's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in daily entries, and preparing comprehensive financial reports. This role involves overseeing various accounting functions, from bank reconciliations to VAT compliance, and requires a high degree of precision and analytical capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and track all revenues and expenses.
• Manage accounts payable, inventory records, and trusts.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with Value Added Tax (VAT) regulations and electronic invoicing requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5-10 years of practical experience in accounting and financial report preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Value Added Tax (VAT) and electronic invoicing.
• Previous experience in the medical or veterinary sector is preferred.
