About the Role

Al Mamlakah International for Cars is seeking an Apparel Sales Representative to join their team in Abha, 'Asir. This contract role is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets within a retail apparel environment.

Role Objective

The primary objective of this role is to deliver a distinguished shopping experience for customers, consistently meet sales goals, and ensure the store's appearance and organization align with the brand's identity and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally greet and welcome customers upon entry.
  • Identify customer needs and assist them in selecting appropriate products.
  • Provide comprehensive information on products, materials, sizes, colors, and current promotions.
  • Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
  • Implement upselling and cross-selling strategies to encourage additional purchases.
  • Arrange and organize apparel within the store according to established display standards.
  • Ensure continuous cleanliness of the store and fitting rooms.
  • Monitor product availability (sizes, colors) and report any shortages to management.
  • Receive new merchandise and participate in sorting, pricing, and displaying items.
  • Execute sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system and issue invoices.
  • Process exchanges and returns in adherence to store policy.
  • Safeguard merchandise to minimize loss or damage.
  • Conduct periodic inventory counts as required.
  • Adhere to store policies, attendance regulations, and official dress code.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and sales information.
  • Professionally handle customer complaints, aiming for resolution or escalation to a supervisor.
  • Participate in promotional campaigns and seasonal events.
  • Assist with product photography or preparation for social media platforms when necessary.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and manage cash register closing procedures (if applicable).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a General Secondary School Certificate.
  • Prior experience in apparel sales or retail is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
