Purchasing Supervisor

About the Role

Zahran Facilities Management is seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to lead and oversee regional procurement activities. This full-time position is based in Abha, 'Asir, and involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and supervising procurement teams across assigned project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate procurement activities across assigned regional project sites.
• Manage and guide procurement staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement regional procurement strategies aligned with project requirements.
• Ensure timely sourcing and availability of materials, equipment, and services.
• Conduct market research to identify suppliers, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to forecast procurement requirements.
• Review and ensure compliance of purchase orders with company policies and agreed terms.
• Review supplier quotations and ensure accurate supporting documentation.
• Support tendering activities, including RFQs, bid collection, and evaluation.
• Prepare procurement status reports for management.
• Resolve supply chain issues and delivery challenges in a timely manner.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for procurement staff.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for the Purchasing Supervisor role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management. The role requires a strong understanding of regional procurement activities and the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
