About the Role
Baker Hughes is seeking an ARMO Mechanic to join their team in Al-Ahsa, Al-Ahsa Governorate. This full-time role involves troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling, and performing visual inspections of mechanical assemblies. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency, aligning with the company's purpose to advance energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As an ARMO Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing critical equipment, diagnosing complex issues, and providing technical support while adhering to safety and environmental policies. Your duties will include:
- Performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance on coiled tubing units, injectors, reels, trailers, power packs, and fluid pumps.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine issues to ensure maximum reliability during well operations.
- Maintaining, testing, and assembling products, tools, and sub-assemblies for operations.
- Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices.
- Assisting in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment.
- Providing coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
- Handling special projects, as assigned.
- Ensuring compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with Coiled Tubing equipment maintenance.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills:
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Effective and courteous communication skills.
- A dedicated focus towards safety and quality.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of workshop equipment and their uses (shop tooling, measurement, and material handling).
Work Environment
This position operates on a shift-based working pattern and may require the ability to work overtime. Candidates should be prepared for potential on-call duties after hours and on weekends, following a rotating schedule.
