Data center specialist

About the Role

Jeraisy Computers and Communications Services is seeking a Data Center Specialist to join their team in Al-Ahsa, Eastern region. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience, with a focus on managing wide-area networks and enterprise-level operations within a data center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor wide-area networks (WAN) and enterprise-level operations.
• Handle incident management with a focus on accuracy and operational effectiveness.
• Work with network hardware, including routers, switches, load balancers, WAF, and firewalls.
• Contribute to data center capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts.
• Develop and document operational procedures.
• Utilize network monitoring and management tools.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 5 or more years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 3 years in WAN or enterprise-level operations management.
• Relevant professional certifications (*, CCNA/CCNP, PCNSA/PCNSE, HSE3, HSE4).
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong proficiency in incident management.
• Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with various systems (Linux, Windows, virtualization, and storage).
• Understanding of data center capacity planning, disaster recovery, business continuity, and associated documentation.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, high availability, redundancy, and incident management protocols.
• In-depth understanding of service management methodologies, with advanced knowledge of ITIL and ISO standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
