About the Role
Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking an experienced ENT Specialist to practice clinical Otorhinolaryngology in Al-Ahsa. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with disorders of the ears, nose, throat, and head and neck regions.
Scope of Practice
The ENT Specialist will independently and collaboratively provide the full spectrum of diagnostic care for conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, and head and neck. Treatment modalities will include medical management and surgical intervention. The scope encompasses congenital, developmental, infectious, inflammatory, neoplastic, and traumatic presentations within these areas. The role operates under the administrative and clinical supervision of the Senior Otolaryngologist and the Division Chief. Physicians in training may be evaluated and supervised as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the professional duties of an Otorhinolaryngologist, providing routine and emergency care.
- Offer consultations to other physicians for conditions within the ENT, head, and neck surgery specialty.
- Ensure prompt and accurate completion of medical records, detailing diagnoses, treatments, and future plans.
- Participate in medical conferences to provide expert opinions on complex cases.
- Collaborate with departmental personnel to integrate curative and preventive aspects of patient care.
- Address daily operational issues and problems within the group, including technical and safety matters.
- Monitor the quality and correctness of work performed by assigned staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in in-service training activities.
- Maintain communication with supervisors regarding unusual situations, problems, and actions taken.
- Ensure assigned personnel observe all medical regulations and company rules.
- Advise on personnel performance and administrative matters to supervisors.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess at least 2 to 5 years of exclusive practice in Otorhinolaryngology since certification. The ability to adapt to a group practice environment within an industrial setting is required, including an understanding of corporate organization, personnel administration, wages, salaries, and accounting practices. Proficiency in the principles and practices of industrial medicine is essential. Applicants must be in good physical and mental condition and provide affirmative recommendations.

The role involves frequent interaction with patients, physicians, and other specialists to facilitate comprehensive patient care and consultations.
