About the Role
Bupa Arabia is seeking a Consultant ENT (Otolaryngology) to provide specialized ear, nose, and throat care within both physical clinic and digital settings in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based clinical practice, contributing to the strategic development of ENT services.
Specialized Assessment and Diagnosis
The Consultant ENT will conduct comprehensive assessments for acute and chronic ENT conditions in person and virtually. This includes accurate diagnosis using evidence-based approaches, interpreting imaging and test results, and coordinating referrals for advanced investigations. Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation within the EMR system is essential.
Management and Treatment Planning
Responsibilities include developing individualized, evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans for ENT patients. The role involves providing medical and procedural management, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment as needed. Educating patients on their conditions, preventive care, and treatment expectations is also a key aspect, ensuring continuity of care across all settings.
Clinical Quality and Safety
Adherence to clinical governance requirements, telemedicine regulations, and patient safety standards is paramount. The Consultant ENT will follow institutional protocols and international clinical guidelines, participating in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and peer review. Appropriate reporting, analysis, and management of clinical incidents are required, alongside supporting compliance with accreditation standards such as CBAHI, JCI, and SCFHS.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration and Patient Experience
This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including internal medicine and radiology, and coordinating referrals with internal and external specialists. Participation in MDT case discussions and providing specialist support to other providers is expected. Delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with clear communication and addressing patient concerns promptly are vital for enhancing patient experience and satisfaction.
Professional Development and Contribution
Maintaining active SCFHS licensure and meeting CME requirements is mandatory. The Consultant ENT is expected to stay updated with advancements in ENT practice and technologies. This includes mentoring junior physicians and contributing to the strategic and operational goals of the ENT service at Bupa Arabia.
