About the Role
Bupa Arabia is seeking a Registrar in ENT (Otolaryngology) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive ENT services within both physical and digital care settings, focusing on patient-centered care under the supervision of a Consultant ENT.
Core Responsibilities
The Registrar will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide spectrum of ear, nose, and throat conditions. This includes conducting evaluations through in-person and virtual consultations, utilizing digital tools and telemedicine platforms effectively for remote assessments. The role requires maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR system, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based healthcare delivery.
Patient Management and Treatment
Developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines is a key aspect of this role. This involves prescribing medications, recommending non-pharmacological interventions, and providing structured follow-up care to monitor patient adherence. Complex or high-risk cases will be escalated to the Consultant ENT or multidisciplinary teams as needed.
Clinical Quality and Collaboration
Ensuring compliance with clinical governance requirements and patient safety standards is paramount. The Registrar will participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and departmental meetings, while also reporting and managing clinical incidents. Collaboration with healthcare teams across physical and digital ENT services is essential for coordinating referrals, investigations, and ensuring continuity of care.
Patient Experience and Professional Development
Providing empathetic, patient-centered ENT care with clarity and professionalism is expected. This includes educating patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventive care, and addressing concerns promptly. The role also requires active participation in CME activities and staying updated on clinical guidelines and advancements in ENT and telemedicine practice. Maintaining active SCFHS registration and complying with licensing requirements are mandatory.
Experience and Work Details
A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for this position. The role is full-time and based in Riyadh.
