About the Role
Bupa Arabia is seeking a Registrar in Pediatrics to deliver high-quality healthcare services to pediatric patients in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 3-5 years of experience in pediatrics, integrating clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions. The Registrar will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment plans, clinical quality, patient safety, and satisfaction, while committing to ongoing professional development.
Core Responsibilities
The Registrar will be responsible for providing direct patient care through telehealth consultations. This includes conducting thorough patient assessments, collecting comprehensive medical histories, and performing virtual physical examinations. The role involves diagnosing pediatric conditions, analyzing diagnostic tests, and managing patient care through appointment and instant consultations.
Treatment Planning and Implementation
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Prescribing appropriate medications, therapies, and lifestyle modifications in accordance with pediatric guidelines.
- Monitoring patient responses to treatment through follow-up telehealth consultations and adjusting plans as necessary.
Clinical Quality and Patient Safety
- Upholding clinical quality standards and ensuring safe practices in all aspects of patient care.
- Adhering to clinical guidelines, protocols, and evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and reporting/analyzing incidents or adverse events.
- Addressing patient concerns effectively and ensuring clear communication regarding their care to promote patient satisfaction.
Collaboration and Professional Development
This role requires fostering collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care. The Registrar will lead and participate in case discussions, share patient insights, and coordinate referrals to specialists. Continuous engagement in professional development, including continuing medical education (CME) and staying updated on clinical guidelines and best practices, is essential.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in pediatrics. The ability to conduct telehealth consultations effectively and utilize virtual examination technologies is crucial. A strong commitment to clinical quality, patient safety, and ongoing professional growth is expected.
