About the Role
Bupa Arabia is seeking a Registrar in Pediatrics for a full-time position in Jeddah. This role is integral to delivering high-quality healthcare services to pediatric patients, requiring a blend of clinical expertise and collaborative teamwork.
Core Responsibilities
The Registrar in Pediatrics will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide spectrum of pediatric conditions. This involves conducting thorough patient assessments, collecting comprehensive medical histories, and performing virtual physical examinations using telehealth technology. The role also includes analyzing and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies, to inform patient care.
Treatment Planning and Patient Management
Key duties involve developing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual pediatric patient needs. This includes collaborating with patients and their families to establish treatment goals, prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with pediatric guidelines, and monitoring patient responses through follow-up consultations. Adjustments to treatment plans will be made as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Clinical Quality and Safety Standards
Upholding high standards of clinical quality and ensuring safe practices are paramount. The Registrar will adhere to established clinical guidelines and protocols, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and conduct audits. Prompt reporting and analysis of any incidents or adverse events are required, with a commitment to implementing evidence-based guidelines to enhance patient safety and address concerns effectively.
Collaboration and Professional Development
This role necessitates fostering collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care. Responsibilities include leading and participating in case discussions, sharing patient insights with other providers, and coordinating referrals to specialists. Continuous engagement in professional development, including continuing medical education (CME) and staying abreast of clinical guideline changes, is expected.
Qualifications and Experience
