Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

TestCrew | Quality Engineering & Software Testing is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a client engagement in Al-Ahsa, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time operational role involves ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of critical systems. The successful candidate will work closely with development, operations, and security teams in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage comprehensive monitoring and observability systems to ensure high availability, system stability, and rapid incident detection and response.
• Continuously monitor system performance, analyze anomalies, and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
• Design and implement monitoring strategies; analyze operational data and metrics to proactively identify and remediate performance risks.
• Automate operations and maintenance processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and minimize operational errors.
• Optimize system performance while ensuring compliance with defined performance standards, SLAs, and operational requirements.
• Support business continuity and risk management practices, enabling rapid incident response and minimizing downtime during disruptions.
• Manage deployment pipelines and release processes, applying DevOps best practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, configuration management) to ensure efficient, reliable, and seamless releases.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices and system protection measures to safeguard data and services in day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—development, operations, and security—to achieve operational objectives and ensure smooth system integration.
• Maintain clear operational documentation, runbooks, and incident reports; participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant role. This position requires a strong ownership mindset with a proactive, prevention-first approach to reliability. The ability to remain calm and methodical under incident pressure is essential.

Work Environment and Location

This role is based onsite in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in on-call and shift coverage as required by the engagement.
