Operations Supervisor

About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a full-time position in Al Hafuf. This role involves leading a team to achieve productivity targets and operational goals, ensuring efficient workflow and prompt resolution of issues in collaboration with the Shift Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily management of departmental duties.
• Assign work to associates to support workflow and daily production KPIs/goals.
• Conduct standup briefs, provide associate feedback, perform floor audits, and conduct vehicle inspections.
• Assist in the training and up-skilling of new associates.
• Support the tracking, trending, and reporting of departmental metrics by associates.
• Assist in analyzing and understanding the reasons for success and failure in meeting departmental delivery and FC KPIs/goals.
• Track, report, and maintain hours and schedules for the team.
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents as required.
• Improve the flow of products through the station.
• Identify and address safety hazards within the workplace and participate in safety initiatives.
• Maintain a full understanding of workflow, daily production goals, and associate attendance.

Team Leadership and Performance

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for motivating a team to meet established targets and productivity expectations. This includes monitoring team attendance and workflow, and working closely with the Shift Manager to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently.

Operational Efficiency

A core aspect of this role involves ensuring the smooth flow of products and adherence to operational procedures. The supervisor will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within the station, continuously seeking improvements in processes and performance.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Hafuf, Saudi Arabia, within Amazon's operational environment. The role requires active participation in daily operations and collaboration with various team members and management.
