About the Role

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail is seeking an Accountant, Accounts Receivable to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time role is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and timely processing, tracking, and recording of sales transactions. The Accountant will manage and maintain all aspects of the company’s accounts receivable cycle, focusing on invoicing, payment processing, and collections.

Role Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the integrity and efficiency of accounts receivable operations. This involves meticulous management of customer accounts, reconciliation of statements, and proactive collection efforts to support the company's financial health. The role requires adherence to company policies and accepted accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all Accounts Receivable transactions, including invoice issuance and customer statement reconciliation.
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure current aging, proper application of credits and collections, accounting for uncollectible amounts, and reconciliation of miscellaneous differences.
• Conduct customer visits as required to support collections and address customer needs.
• Prepare analytical reports and ratio analyses related to accounts receivable to inform management on collection progress.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Create, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• Address ad hoc matters as directed by superiors.
• Manage and initiate accounts closure procedures in coordination with other sections to ensure timely account finalization.
• Follow and implement procedures to eliminate errors and ensure accurate postings to the correct General Ledger accounts.
• Prepare weekly reports for all accounts receivable-related activities.
• Ensure timely follow-up on all collection efforts.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role. A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential for this position.
