Alboom Marine Saudi Arabia, a branch of Alboom Marine (Kuwait), operates a diverse marine business in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. Our operations include a marine workshop specializing in FRP repair, outboard service, electrical/mechanical work, welding, and trailer fabrication. We also manage a showroom for marine accessories, spare parts, fishing, and diving equipment, alongside government supply, tenders, and vessel operations and charter services.

The Role of Accountant

We are seeking a full-time Accountant with 2-5 years of experience to manage the daily accounting operations for our branch. This role involves comprehensive financial management, including bookkeeping, invoicing, tax compliance, payroll, inventory, and job costing, with regular reporting to both local management and Kuwait HQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete bookkeeping records in Zoho Books, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and petty cash management.
• Issue ZATCA-compliant e-invoices (Fatoora Phase 2) for workshop services, showroom sales, and government/charter clients.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, and support annual Zakat filing and external audits.
• Manage payroll, GOSI, Mudad/WPS, and staff advances, coordinating Iqama and government fee payments with HR.
• Track inventory and stock movements for spare parts, accessories, and consignment stock, performing periodic stock counts.
• Perform job costing for workshop jobs (parts, labor, subcontracts) and generate margin reports per job and per showroom item/salesperson.
• Provide financial support for government tenders, including Etimad registration documents, bid pricing assistance, bank guarantees, and contract invoicing/collections.
• Follow up on receivables and supplier payments, and maintain cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and inter-company reporting for Kuwait HQ.
• Maintain the fixed asset register for boats, equipment, vehicles, and trailers, including depreciation calculations.
• Keep company records current, including CR, VAT certificate, Zakat certificate, GOSI, and Chamber of Commerce registrations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Experience with VAT and Zakat compliance.
• Ability to manage payroll and related government requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
